Having learned to ride at the tender age of 4, I was very actively involved with
horses and ponies from a young age; from pony club, helping at racing yards where
my parents worked, hunting and competing at affiliated British Showjumping to a
good standard. Later on I spent time riding out at some national hunt stables,
gaining valuable experience.
I was also a keen cricketer for many years and experienced the benefits of
physiotherapy and massage first hand.
This led to me studying ITEC Human massage, anatomy and physiology. That was followed by learning Equine Sports Massage in 2005 with the world renowned Jean-Pierre Hourdebaigt in Florida USA.
Since that time I have been keen to pursue my continual professional development, and to that end I have furthered my studies with Remedial & Sports Injuries Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Hopi Ear Candling and Hot Stone Massage and recently Equine & Human Low Level Laser Therapy.
I also regularly attend Equine Science Conferences nationwide to keep abreast of the latest developments across all disciplines.
